SIKAP BAHASA TERHADAP PENGGUNAAN BAHASA JAWA KRAMA PADA MASYARAKAT JAWA PESISIR DI KABUPATEN DEMAK

This study aims to describe language attitudes towards the use of Javanese language, especially in coastal Java communities in Demak Regency. The research locations is Sayung Sub-District, Wedung Sub-District and Bonang Sub-District. The method of data collectionin this research is survey method. The data analysis uses partial t test in regression analysis with SPSS software (Statistical Product and Service Solutions). The result presented uses informal methods and formal methods. The theory used is Garvin and Mathiot's theory(1968). The findings of the study indicate a significant difference at the point of the study area. The research area that has a tendency towards Javanese language with a positive attitude is Bonang Subdistrict and Wedung Subdistrict, while the research area which has a tendency towards Javanese polite language with a negative attitude is Sayung Subdistrict.
