Abstract
Penggunaan sistem informasi telah mendapat perhatian yang semakin meningkat seiring dengan munculnya beragam aplikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perancangan sistem informasi monitoring persediaan obat di rumah sakit. Jumlah dan ragam jenis obat yang sangat banyak mengharuskan pihak rumah sakit memantau persediaan obat secara rutin. Kegiatan ini membutuhkan proses yang panjang mulai dari pengecekan stok masing-masing obat sampai dengan keputusan dari seorang pakar untuk menyetok kembali persediaan obat. Hal inilah yang membuat perputaran stok obat menjadi lambat, stok kosong, dan tak jarang rumah sakit akhirnya menggunakan obat lain. Karena keputusan seorang pakar obat sangat dibutuhkan dalam proses pemantauan persediaan obat, maka diberikan aturan dari seorang pakar obat dari pihak rumah sakit tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel data dari farmasi rumah sakit. Sistem yang dirancang mampu mengidentifikasi, menghitung jumlah obat, memberi peringatan, melaporkan stok obat dan memesan secara otomatis ketika stok obat dibawah batas aman. Kesimpulannya adalah sistem informasi monitoring persediaan obat diperlukan untuk mempermudah proses pemantuan persediaan obat secara rutin dan berkala. The objective of the reasearch is to study the information systems design for monitoring drug supply in hospitals. The numerous number and variety types of drugs require the hospital to monitor drug supplies regularly. This activity requires a long process starting from checking the stock of each drug to the decision of an expert to stock the drug inventory. This is what makes drug stock turnover slow, empty stock, and not infrequently the hospital finally uses other drugs. Because the decision of a drug expert is very much needed in the process of monitoring drug supplies, the rules of a drug expert are given from the hospital. This study uses data samples from hospital pharmacies. The system is designed to identify, calculate the amount of drug, give a warning, report drug stock and order automatically when the drug stock is below the safe limit. The conclusion is that a drug inventory monitoring information system is needed to facilitate the routine and periodic monitoring of drug supplies..
