ANALISIS PENGARUH INKLUSI KEUANGAN TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI 14 KABUPATEN/KOTA TERPILIH DI PROVINSI NUSA TENGGARA TIMUR TAHUN 2012-2016

Abstract

Financial inclusion is currently a new strategy by the government to improve Indonesia's economy. This study aims to identify the conditions of financial inclusion and analyze the effect of financial inclusion on the economic growth of 14 selected regions/cities in East Nusa Tenggara Province in 2012-2016. The method of analysis in this study uses descriptive statistical analysis and panel data regression. Descriptive statistical analysis was used to identify Index of Banking Penetration, Index of Banking Services Availability, and Index of Banking Services Usage of 14 selected regions/cities in East Nusa Tenggara Province in 2012-2016. Panel data regression analysis using the Fixed Effect Model method is used to analyze the effect of the Index of Banking Penetration, Index of Banking Services Availability, and Index of Banking Services Usage on economic growth. This study also includes a control variable, which is the population that works. The data used in this research is secondary data. Descriptive statistical analysis results show that the overall Index of Banking Penetration, Index of Banking Services Availability, and Index of Banking Services Usage of 14 selected regions/cities in Nusa Tenggara Province 2012-2016 are subject to fluctuating and tend to be low. The panel data regression results show the Index of Banking Penetration, Index of Banking Services Availability, and Index of Banking Services Usage have a positive and significant effect, while the working population has a negative and insignificant effect on the economic growth of 14 selected regions/cities of East Nusa Tenggara Province in 2012-2016.
