Abstract

ABSTRAK Sungai Klampok merupakan sebuah sub-DAS dari DAS Jragung yang mengalir di Kabupaten Semarang. Penggunaan lahan di sekitar DAS Klampok sangat beragam berupa lahan pertanian sawah, lahan pemukiman, lahan perkebunan dan hutan. Kondisi tersebut berpotensi mengakiatkan terjadinya pencemaran sungai akibat aktivitas masyarakat dalam penggunaan lahan yang dapat mempengaruhi tingkat kualitas air di DAS Klampok. Dalam upaya mengetahui seberapa besar pencemaran air yang terjadi di DAS Klampok, penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan Indeks Kualitas Air–National Sanitation Foundation (IKA-NSF). Dalam pemantauan kualitas air DAS Klampok dilakukan dengan membagi menjadi 6 segmentasi wilayah serta dilakukan 2 kali pengukuran. Hasil perhitungan kualitas air DAS Klampok menggunakan metode IKA-NSF menunjukkan kualitas air di setiap segmen Sungai Klampok berstatus sedang-baik berkisar antara 57-79. Nilai indeks kualitas air tertinggi berada pada Segmen 1 di Desa Sidomukti, Kecamatan Bandungan dengan nilai indeks sebesar 79 Sedangkan, nilai indeks kualitas air terendah berada pada Segmen 4 di Jembatan Kebonan II, Kecamatan Bergas dengan nilai indeks sebesar 57. Salah satu pengendalian pencemaran di Sungai Klampok yang dapat direkomendasikan ialah pembuatan program sanitasi terpadu untuk mengurangi kandungan bakteri Fecal Coliform di perairan sungai Klampok. ABSTRACT [Determination the status of Water Quality Based on National Sanitation Foundation – Water Quality Index (NSF-IKA) Method as Enviromental Quality Control(Case Study: Klampok River, Semarang , Jawa Tengah] Klampok is a river sub-basin from Jragung Watershed flowing in Semarang. Land use in the vicinity of Klampok Watershed is very diverse in the form fields, farmland land settlements, plantations and forests. These conditions could potentially result in the occurrence of pollution of the river due to the activities of the community in land use that may affect the quality of the water level a Klampok River. In an attempt to find out how much water pollution happened at Klampok River, research was carried out based on the National Sanitation Foundation-Water Quality Index (NSF-WQI) methode. Water quality monitoring in Klampok River is done by dividing into six territorial segmentation as well as done 2 times the measurement. The results of the calculation of the water quality Klampok River using NSF-WQI methode the results water quality shows in every segment of the river Klampok status-good range between 57-79. The highest water quality index value located on the segment 1 in the village of Sidomukti, Bandungan with index value of 79 which mean good, while the water quality index value is the lowest segment of the 4 on the bridge Kebonan II, Carbonated with index value of 57 which mean not bad. one of the control of pollution in the river that can be recommended Klampok is manufacture integrated sanitation program to reduce the content of Fecal Coliform bacteria in river waters Klampok.
