Abstract
Upaya mengetahui status pencemaran sungai perlu dilakukan karena apabila kualitas air sungai turun sampai angka tertentu maka tidak dapat berfungsi sesuai dengan peruntukannya. Kebijakan pemantauan sungai dilakukan untuk mengendalikan laju pencemaran sungai. Undang-undang Nomor 32 Tahun 2009 telah mengamanatkan kepada pemerintah, swasta dan masyarakat agar lebih memperhatikan aspek pengelolaan dan perlindungan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui status mutu perairan di wilayah pertemuan aliran dua sungai, Sungai Serang dan Sungai Lusi. Pendekatan kuantitatif yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui beban cemar, pengaruh input pencemar, purifikasi sungai, dan analisis resiko lingkungan sungai. Sementara pendekatan kualitatif dilakukan untuk menggambarkan aktifitas-aktifitas di sepanjang sungai yang memberikan beban cemar tinggi terhadap kualitas air sungai (point source) kemudian dirumuskan strategi pengelolaan dan pengendalian pencemaran air. Berdasarkan hasil survei di lapangan, bahwa sistem drainase Kabupaten Grobogan dibagi menjadi 5 sub sistem drainase. Sumber pencemar berasal dari kegiatan pertanian yaitu pertanian padi dan pertanian hortikultura mulai dari area ujung Sungai Serang, area ujung Sungai Lusi, area pertemua Sungai Serang dan Sungai Lusi hingga Bendung Klambu. Selain itu sumber pencemar berasal dari aktifitas MCK. berada di area awal pertemuan dua sungai yang masuk wilayah Desa Kronggen, Kecamatan Brati, Kabupaten Grobogan dimana area pemukiman penduduk berada jarak <1 km di sisi utara sungai, sumber lain di wilayah Desa Kandangrejo, Kecamatan Klambu, Kabupaten Grobogan dimana area pemukiman penduduk berada jarak ±2 km di sisi timur sungai mengalir melalui anak sungai. Parameter BOD, COD, dan mikrobiologi telah melampaui baku mutu yang ditetapkan. Penguatan kelembagaan dan monitoring sungai menjadi poin penting dalam pemanfaatan sungai ke depan. While a qualitative approach is conducted to describe activities along streams that provide a high pollutant load on river water quality (point source) then formulated strategies for water pollution management and control. Based on survey results in the field, that Grobogan District drainage system is divided into 5 sub-drainage system. The source of pollutant comes from the agricultural activities of rice farming and horticultural agriculture starting from the end of the Serang River, the Lusi River end area, the area of the Serang River and the Lusi River up to Bendung Klambu. In addition, the source of pollutant comes from the MCK activity. located at the beginning of the meeting of two rivers entering the village of Kronggen, Brati District, Grobogan District where the residential area is located <1 km on the north side of the river, other sources in Kandangrejo Village, Klambu District, Grobogan Regency where the residential area is located ± 2 km on the east side of the river flows through the creeks. The parameters of BOD, COD, and microbiology have exceeded the established quality standard.
