GAMBARAN PELAKSANAAN KEWENANGAN KLINIS PERAWAT KLINIK I-III SESUAI JENJANG KARIR DI INTENSIVE CARE UNIT RSUD TUGUREJO SEMARANG

Abstract

Nurses in the practice of nursing has the authority based on the clinical level of career. Some of nurses in the Intensive Care Unit who perform clinical privilege had not been able with their clinical ladder but exceed their clinical privilege of clinical ladder. The purpose of this research was to describe the implementation of clinical privilege of clinical nurses I-III based on clinical ladder in the Intensive Care Unit of RSUD Tugurejo Semarang. This method was quantitative research with descriptive survey design. Data collection was done by observation for 7 times shift then presented in a frequency distribution tables. Respondents in this research were 20 nurses. The result showed that professional clinical privilege of independent and collaboration clinical nurses based on clinical privilege conducted clinical nurses I and II not in accordance with the clinical privilege of 15 respondents (75%). The conclusion in this research was clinical nurses I and II in conducting independent and collaboration hadn’t accordance yet with career levels. The institution recommended for evaluating hospital policy in ICU considering most of the interventions made in ICU included in the clinical privilege of clinical nurse III to better suit the nursing practice more closely with the clinical ladder Keywords : Clinical Nurses, Clinical Privilege, Clinical Ladder References : 80 (2001-2017)
