Hubungan Aktivitas Fisik dengan Kualitas Hidup pada Wanita Menopause di Kelurahan Kramas Semarang

Abstract

Menopausal woman experience physiological, psychological changes and decreased quality of life. This condition occurs because women are less active. Physical activity is needed to compensate the changes. The aim of study to determine the relationship between physical activity and quality of life menopausal woman. The study conducted in the Kramas, Semarang and there are 193 respondents. The method used is a quantitative with descriptive correlative research with cross-sectional approach and non-probability sampling technique. The instruments used is Baeckee Questionaire to evaluate physical activity and WHOQOL-BREF to evaluate quality of life. The results of this study are, in physical activity, employment index has highest average value (2,770) and leisure time index has lowest average value (2,067). In quality of life, physical domain has highest average value (68,97) and social domain has lowest average value (59,98). The relationship between physical activity and physical domain (p-value= <0.001; r= 0.396), physical activity and psychological domain (p-value= <0.001; r= 0.386), physical activity and social domain (p-value= 0.001; r= 0.236), physical activity and environmental domain (p-value= <0.001; r= 0.279) which all show relationship with weak correlation and positive direction. Postmenopausal women are advised to be more socially active and take advantage of leisure time for exercise. Keywords : Menopause, Physical activity, Quality of life Bibliography : 1990 – 2018
