Gambaran Pengetahuan dan Sikap Wanita Usia Subur tentang Metode Kontrasepsi Jangka Panjang di Kelurahan Rowosari Kecamatan Tembalang Kota Semarang

Abstract

Long-term contraceptive method is a contraceptive method used to delay, exclude pregnancy, and stop fertility that can hold out between three years to a lifetime including IUD, implants, and solid contraception. The preliminary study of the use of LTCM in Rowosari Semarang Health Center on the last three months of 2017 was 0 user of IUD, Implant and Male Operative Method, 2 users of Women's Operative Method from the total WCA amounting to 2089 people in Rowosari Village, Tembalang District, Semarang City. The purpose of this study is to describe the knowledge and attitudes of women of childbearing age about long-term contraceptive methods in Rowosari Village, Tembalang District, Semarang City in 2018. This type of research is a quantitative research using descriptive design with a cross sectional approach. The subject of this research is WCA in Rowosari Village with 95 people sample and using simple random sampling method. The instrument is using a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the research on WCA knowledge about LTCM is 62 people (65.3%) in a good category and 57 people (60%) in negative attitude category of WCA about LTCM . From the results the research about LTCM is expected that WCA will exchange experiences with WCA who use LTCM.
