Abstract

ABSTRACT Frinindhita, Citra. 2018. "Interjections and Implications in Boku drama, Unmei no Hito desu". Thesis, S1 Japanese Literature, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Diponegoro University. Thesis Advisor Reny Wiyatasari, S.S., M.Hum. In this thesis, the author examined "Interactions and Implications in Boku drama, Unmei no Hito desu". The purpose of this study is to describe the types of interjections and implicatures and their use in the speech of Boku drama, Unmei no Hito desu. The author took data from the Boku drama dialogue transcript, Unmei no Hito desu for 10 episodes. The author used the method of recording techniques and note-taking techniques for providing data, then analyzed using extralingual methods, and the results of the analysis are written in an informal method. According to the analysis result from 20 datas, there are 7 types of Kandoushibased on their functions. Kandoushithat mostly appeared is Kandoushiwhich shows surprise. There are also found 4 types of implicatures, implicature that mostly appeared is the generalized conversational implicature. The implicit meaning in the implicature is to divert the conversation, express displeasure, maintain politeness and convince speech to the partner. Keyword: Interjection, Kandoushi, Implicature
