PENCIPTAAN HUMOR DODIT MULYANTO DALAM BUKU ANTARA JAWA & EROPA (KAJIAN PRAGMATIK)

Abstract

This study aimed to describe humor creation technique of speech by Dodit Mulyanto employing the theory of Asa Berger. This study uses a reading method, which is listening to Dodit Mulyanto’s speech contained in the book Between Java & Europe (2015). The dara were analyzed descriptive qualitative, which describes how humor creation techniques were used in this study. The theory used is the Asa Berger humor creation theory. Based on the results of the analysis in this study, it was found that there are two aspects of humor creation (language and logic). Language aspects incorporate satire, nonsense or gibberish, exaggeration, ridicule, and misunderstanding; while from the aspects of logic include disappointment and indifference.
