GAMBARAN DUKUNGAN SOSIAL TEMAN SEBAYA PADA MAHASISWA BIDIKMISI S1 DEPARTEMEN ILMU KEPERAWATAN

Bachelor Program of Nursing Department of Nursing Faculty of Medicine Diponegoro University Semarang, July 2018 ABSTRACT Siska Elvina Br Purba The Description of Peer Social Support In Bidikmisi Students S1 Department of Nursing Bidikmisi students are students who have good academic potential but are not economically able to get the help of education fees obtained from the government. Bidikmisi students are required to develop a good achievement in the academic or non academic so that Bidikmisi's assistance is not revoked. But still found some Bidikmisi students who had low peer social support. The purpose of this study is to describe the social support of peers in student Bidikmisi Department of Nursing Faculty of medicine Diponegoro University. This study is a descriptive method quantitative research survey. Sampling technique used is total sampling and the samples are 144 Bidikmisi students of Diponegoro University Nursing. This study used The Social Provixion Scale (SPS) questionnaire. The results showed has high peer social support 66 people (45.8%) and a number of 78 people (54.2%) had a low peer social support. Based on the research results, it is advisable for students to increase social support especially peers to be able to support each other and motivate each other in terms of academic or personal problems so it does not cause problems especially in health problems.
