SLANG PADA SUPORTER SEPAK BOLA LA MANIA Sebuah Kajian Sosiolinguistik

The objective of this study is to describe the vocabulary slang in language variations and pattern of formation of LA Mania football supporters. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The data collection method used in this study is the method of observation. The stages used in this study is the data acquisition stage, the record stage, and interview stage for the validity of data slang. The result of this research is that some slang vocabulary is divided based on language variation, pattern of formation, and word change used in communication between LA Mania soccer player. In language variations, the slang used by LA Mania soccer supporters includes ideolect, dialect, and sociolect. Meanwhile, the pattern of formation is divided into 2 sub, origin form and derived form. Keywords: Sociolinguistics, Language Variation, Slang, Morphological Process, and Word Changes.
