Abstract

Alfiah Tri Hastutik Relationship between Anxiety and Hope In Bidikmisi Students of Nursing Department, Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University, Semarang xii + 131 pages + 6 tables + 2 Images + 13 Attachments Bidikmisi students rely on received their scholarship. They hope to get a bachelor degree easily and quickly with it. In their learning process Bidikmisi students will encounter many problems that can cause anxiety situation. While hope is the positive and negative thoughts that are owned and can be built as well as believed. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between anxiety and hope in Bidikmisi students of Nursing Department, Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University. The populations of this study were 145 Bidikmisi students. The sampling technique used was total sampling technique. Method of data analysis used was Chi Square method. Measuring instruments used were SHS questionnaire (6 items) and HARS questionnaire (14 items). The Chi Square test results showed a relation between expectations with anxiety (rs = - 0.016; p <0.05). The higher of hope so the more light the students feel anxiety. Keywords: Anxiety, Hope, Bidikmisi Students
