Abstract

Umi Afrikhah Recovery in People with Schizophrenia (ODS) in The Inpatient Room of RSJD Dr. Amino Gondohutomo Semarang xiv + 98 Pages + 6 Tables + 2 Images + 17 attachments The incidence of recurrence of schizophrenia sufferers are still common. Recovery is a change in which a person increases his health and wellbeing with a life of hope and purpose in accordance with all capabilities. Therefore, the existence of important implementation research on recovery in people with Schizophrenia . The purpose of this research is to know the description of the recovery in people with Schizophrenia (ODS) in the inpatient room RSJD Dr. Amino Gondohutomo Semarang. This research is a descriptive method quantitative research survey. The technique of sampling non probability sampling is used with a total sample of 71. The instruments used in this research is the Recovery Assessment Scale (RAS) and construct validity 0,630-0,866 and alpha aronbach 0.955. The RAS questionnaire has 20 statements and 5 domains include: personal confidence and hope, willingness to ask for help, goal and success orientation, reliance on others, and not being dominated by symptoms. The results of this study are ODS that treated in inpatient rooms have good recovery. The highest result is hope and success orientation with means 3.90, while the lowest result is a not dominated by symptoms with means 3.54. Based on the results of this study it is expected that nurses can maximize the recovery process of the five domains by maintaining interventions that have been given and supported by other therapies such as: group activity therapy, occupational therapy, spirituality therapy, and others.
