Gambaran Tingkat Kejadian Nyeri Muskuloskeletal pada Mahasiswa Keperawatan

Abstract

Activities or work attitudes carried out by nursing students as well as nurses work in hospitals can affect the normal function of the tissue of the musculoskeletal system which is characterized by pain or aches in some parts of the body because the body is widely used to move perform various activities. The activities carried out by nursing students are very diverse such as lifting patients, moving patients, caring for wounds, and others. This study aims to determine the description of the incidence of musculoskeletal pain in nursing students. This research is a quantitative descriptif surveiy, research instrument in the form of Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire. The sampling technique used is total sampling. Respondents in this study were 120 nursing students. The results of this study showed that some respondents (80.8%) experienced mild musculoskeletal pain, 10.8% of respondents were moderate pain, and 7.6% were very painful. Most students experience mild pain in the body part including the upper neck, left shoulder, lower back, waist, left calf, and right. the results of the study, it is necessary to prevent pain in nursing students with physical activity that can stretch the muscles.
