GAMBARAN KOMUNIKASI TERAPEUTIK PERAWAT DI RUMAH SAKIT ISLAM SULTAN AGUNG SEMARANG

School of Nursing Faculty of Medicine Diponegoro University Semarang, July 2018 ABSTRAK Chindy Permata Sari The Description of Therapeutic Communication of Nurses in Islam Sultan Agung Semarang Hospital xiv + 52 Pages + 8 tables + 2 Pictures + 17 Attachments Therapeutic communication is a process whereby a nurse is consciously able to approach her patient which aims at healing the patient. Therapeutic communication consists of orientation phase, working phase, and termination phase. The purpose of this research is to know the description of therapeutic communication of nurse in hospital. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. Sampling technique used random sampling, as many as 108 respondents participated in this study. The data analysis used is univariate analysis which produce frequency distribution table. The result showed that 62% of therapeutic communication therapeutic orientation level was not good, 63% was good nurse therapeutic communication work stage, and 78,7% therapeutic communication therapeutic termination stage was good. The conclusion largely states that the orientation stage is less good but at the stage of work and termination stage is good. Researchers suggest that nurses should improve nurse therapeutic communication especially in the orientation stage as the nurse introduce hersefl to the patient.
