KONSEP PENGEMBANGAN ANGKUTAN UMUM YANG HUMANIS DI DAERAN SUB URBAN BERBASIS KARAKTERISTIK WILAYAH (STUDI KASUS KECAMATAN BANYUMANIK-SEMARANG)

Abstract

The people growth in certain area, the road network’s development, the potensial trips and vehicle ownership of metropolitan city are the problems. The Density in the central city caused the people migration to the pheripheral. The people’s trip to the central city at the peak hour is the concern of transportation problem. Banyumanik district as the one of sub urban area has the large potensial of people trip to central city about 24,4%. The amount of public transportation is decrease and the vehicle’s growth caused the worst of public transportation service. The convensional approach by people attraction could not solved the problems. Then, its important to develop the better service concept in the future based on the characteristics of area.
