Abstract
ABSTRACT Rachmat, Dede. 2018. “Main Character’s Norma of Bushido in Film Rurouni Kenshin Made by Keishi Ootomo”. Thesis, Japanese Departement, Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University. Advisor Fajria Noviana, S.S, M.Hum. Film is drama that made by audio and visual. In literature, drama is one of more expressive than other kind of literature work. Drama is a way to describe human life with conflict and action. Rurouni Kenshin a film by Keishi Ootomo in 2012 is a object to writer. That film choose because the plot describe a samurai’s life. There is two kind of bushido result. The first result is the norma of bushido that still to do is honesty, courage, politeness, righteousness, and sincerity. The second result is do not to do anymore of bushido is honesty, honor, and loyalty. Keywords : Norma; bushido; Rurouni Kenshin; film.
