Abstract
The measurement device of have been made rotation motor with microcontroller AT89S51 and interfaced serially with computer. The device can be used to measure rotation per second of motor. The device consist of hall effect sensor UGN 3503, comparator, microcontroller AT89S51 and seven segment display. Principle work of the device is hall effect sensor used to sens magnetic field that close to motor so can produce pulses that will be entered to Op-amp comparator to compare two voltage levels wich are input voltage (Vin) to reference (Vref). Then microcontroller AT89S51 will process data from the pulses of comparator to be sent to comparator serially. The result of the process of microcontroller AT89S51 will be displayed to seven segment display and interfaced to computer with Borland Delphi 7.0. Maximum rotation of the motor that can be measured by the device is 60 Rps and can be save in Ms. Excel form.
