GAMBARAN PENERAPAN FUNGSI MANAJEMEN: PERENCANAAN DI RUMAH SAKIT ISLAM SULTAN AGUNG SEMARANG

Abstract

Planning is the most important for all managerial activities. Great planning will reduce future uncertainty. Planning consists of the vision and mission, values, goals, policies, SOP (standar operating procedure), regulations, as well as annual, monthly and daily plans. The study was aimed to describe the implementation of planning in Sultan Agung Semarang Islamic Hospital. The study was non-experimantal quantitative study with descriptive survey method. The sample was based on probability sampling with stratified sampling type, sampling involving 79 respondents. The research showed that the application of planning in Sultan Agung Semarang Islamic Hospital in good category. This was based on the percentage of goals 92,4%, policy 89,9%, vision and mission 87,3%, regulations 81%, SOP 74,7%, values 72,2%, and annual, monthly and daily plans 72,2%. The conclusion of the study is the implementation of planning in Sultan Agung Semarang Islamic Hospital in good category. These result are expected to be a reference for hospital to improve socialization related to hospital planning function to nurses to improve nurses’ understanding of the goals of the hospital.
