Pengaruh Penerapan Sepuluh Faktor Karatif terhadap Peningkatan Kemampuan Caring Perawat dan Kepuasan Pasien di RSUD Jombang

Abstract

Caring is a nurse's professional actions in providing nursing care and fostering relationships with patients who need self-awareness, the process of choosing, knowledge and skills in particular and considering time. The relationship between the patient nurse is built on the basis of ten carative factors including humanistic-altruistic, hope, sensitivity, caring, feeling expression, problem solving, learning, environment, fulfillment of basic human and spiritual needs. The purpose of this research was to identify the effect of implementation of ten carative factors on the improvement of nurse caring skills and patient satisfaction. This research used quasi experiment pre-post with control group design method. The study was conducted in RSUD Jombang. The sample were 32 nurses and 80 patients in each intervention group and control group. Technical sampling by using proportionate random sampling and consecutive sampling method. The result research showed there was a differences in mean value of nurse caring skills between before and after caring training. The average of nurse caring skills increased significantly from 9.12 to 16.25 and the mean value of patient satisfaction increased from 58.38 to 80.45 in the intervention group. Thus it can be concluded there was an effects of implementation of ten carative factors on the improvement of nurse caring skills and patient satisfaction.
