Abstract

Have been done an electromechanical system engineering and realization of paint mixer automation using microcontroller of AT89S51. This instrument can be used at paint industry, paint shop, building painting service, of vehicle painting service, etc and can be used replace the convensional. This system consist of hardware and software. Hardware consist of network of microcontroller of AT89S51 and RS232, light censor network (LDR and comparator), DC and AC relay network, power supply, and of Schmitt trigger-inverter network. While the software using assembly Read51. Microcontroller will make input confirmation of light censor to detect existence of is place to be used to discontinue conveyor when solenoid valve will fill in paint at the place, with a stoppage time arranged by timer kept as colour database, the process recurring to the three of light censor exceeded and the three of primary colour accommodated at the place, after these processes, conveyor will move till touch limit switch as signal to discontinuing conveyor and sending down the mixer to mix paints according to stoppage time which have been arranged, then mixer go up again to touch second limit switch and stopped, microcontroller will continuing process by activating polarity reverser relay to returning rotating direction of conveyor until the place touching fourth limit switch so that the place stopped. Result of colour obtained still be limited for a few just colour and still have the colour difference with the colour made in manual. The result total volume from mixing basic colour used this instrument is 100ml. if the colour from mixing proses compared with RGB colour composition in computer, it has differences. It caused the colour which used in this application have different standard with the computer.
