Abstract

Pelabuhan sebagai tempat berlabuh kapal berpotensi menjadi sumber keluar masuknya penyakit menular dari dalam dan luar negeri, melalui tikus. Tikus sebagai binatang pengerat, pengganggu, maupun perusak, di rumah, di kantor, maupun di daerah pelabuhan, maka diperlukan pemberantasan dan pengendalian populasi tikus menggunakan perangkap dengan umpan. Tikus di pelabuhan bersifat omnivora tetapi menyukai makanan tertentu. Tujuan penelitian ini ingin mengetahui perbedaan jenis umpan yang disukai tikus dalam pemantauan tikus di pelabuhan Pangkalbalam. Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen, dengan rancangan eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen design). Variabel bebas adalah jenis umpan terdiri dari daging, kelapa bakar, ikan, ketela. Bariabel terikat tikus yang tertangkap. Analisis data menggunakan program SPSS dengan tingkat kemaknaan untuk menolak Ho adalah < 0,05. Analisis bivariat dengan uji One Way Anova dilanjutkan Post Hoc Tests Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jenis tikus yang tertangkap yaitu jenis tikus R. tanezumi 57,4%, R. norvegicus 29,4% dan M. musculus 13,2%,persentase keberhasilan perangkap umpan kelapa bakar 16,4%, daging 11,8%, ikan dan ketela 7,9% serta jenis umpan yang disukai yang disukai berturut-turut kelapa bakar 38,2%, daging 26,4%, ikan dan ketela 17,7%. Ada perbedaan umpan kesukaan tikus terhadap tikus yang tertangkap. Hasil uji statistik One way Anova, menunjukkan ada perbedaan yang bermakna antar umpan kesukaan tikus p-value 0,047. Umpan kelapa bakar berbeda bermakna dengan umpan ketela dan ikan p-value 0,015 Pengendalian tikus di pelabuhan dapat menggunakan umpan kelapa bakar dan peran masyarakat sangat diperlukan tentang kebersihan rumah dan lingkungan. Kata Kunci: Umpan tikus, Bangka Belitung.   A STUDY ON MOUSE FAVORITE BAIT DIFFERENCE IN MOUSE MONITORING AT PANGKALBALAM HARBOUR PANGKALPINANG CITY BANGKA BELITUNG PROVINCE Abstract A harbour as a dock pleace for ship has a potential to be the source of infect disease to go in and out from the country and abroad, through mouse. Mouse as the rodent, intruder or destroyer animal at home, office or harbour area, the refore it is required the elimination and control of mouse population by using a trap with bait. The mouse in harbour is an omnivora but they like certain food. The aim of this research is to know the difference of bait type liked by mouse in maouse monitoring at Pangkalbalam harbour. Kind of this research was on experiment with quasi experiment design. Free variable were bait types consisting of meat, coconut, fish, yams. The bound variable was trapped mouse. Data analysis was conducted by using SPSS with significance level to refuse Ho was < 0,05. Bivariat analisis with One Way Anova Test was followed with Post Hoc Test. The result of this research indicated that kind of trapped mouse were R. tanezumi 57,4%, R. norvegicus 29,4%, and M. musculus 13,2%, the succes percentage of roasted coconut bait was 16,4%, meat 11,8%, fish and yams 7,9% and liked bait type is in succession were roasted coconut 38,2%, mite 26,4%, fish and yams 17,7%. There was bait difference of maouse favorite to the trapped mouse. The statistical test of One Way Anova indicated that there were significant difference between mouse favorite bait p-value 0,047. The roasted coconut bait has significant difference with yams and fish bait p-value 0,015 The mouse control in harbour may use roasted coconut bait and public's role is really required in house and environment cleanliness.
