Abstract

Universitas Diponegoro Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Program Studi Magister Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat Konsentrasi Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak 2017 ABSTRAK Reni Pawestuti Ambari Sumanto Pengaruh Edukasi Menggunakan Media Video terhadap Perilaku Guru Taman Kanak-Kanak dalam Deteksi Dini dan Tatalaksana Penyimpangan Pertumbuhan xvi + 166 halaman + 18 tabel + 3 gambar + 13 lampiran Status gizi balita menurut indikator berat badan per tinggi badan, prevalensi sangat kurus pada tahun 2013 masih cukup tinggi yaitu 5,3%, terdapat penurunan dibandingkan tahun 2010 yaitu 6.8%. Prevalensi kurus sebesar 6,8% juga menunjukkan adanya penurunan dari 7,3% (tahun 2010). Tidak berubahnya prevalensi status gizi, kemungkinan besar terjadi karena belum meratanya pemantauan pertumbuhan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh edukasi menggunakan media video terhadap perilaku guru taman kanak-kanak (TK)dalam deteksi dini dan tatalaksana penyimpangan pertumbuhan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimental dengan rancangan pre test and post test control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru TK di Kota Semarang sejumlah 1778 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan systematic samplingdan dipilih 79 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengisi kuesioner sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Analisis univariat dengan uji paired t-test dan wilcoxon. Analisis bivariat menggunakan mann whitney u test. Hasil penelitian pada kelompok perlakuan menunjukkan ada perbedaan pengetahuan (p=0.000), sikap (p=0.000), dan praktik (p=0.000) guru TK sebelum dan sesudah edukasi.Pada kelompok kontrol menunjukkan ada perbedaan pengetahuan (p=0.000), sikap (p=0.000), dan praktik (p=0.001) guru TK sebelum dan sesudah edukasi. Ada perbedaan pengetahuan (p=0.007), sikap (p=0.000), dan praktik (p=0.000) guru TK sebelum dan sesudah edukasi deteksi dini dan tatalaksana penyimpangan pertumbuhan pada kedua kelompok. Disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan perilaku guru TK sebelum dan sesudah edukasi deteksi dini dan tatalaksana penyimpangan pertumbuhan antara kedua kelompok. Disarankan pada UPTD Pendidikan Kota Semarang agar edukasi deteksi dini dan tatalaksana penyimpangan pertumbuhan dapat menjadi salah satu bentuk pelatihan bagi guru TK. However, it was lower than a prevalence of very skinny in 2010 namely 6.8%. Similarly, a prevalence of skinny in 2013 was 6.8% lower than that of in 2010 (7.3%). A prevalence of nutritional status did not change because there was not equal in monitoring growth. This study aimed at analysing the influence of education using video media towards behaviour of kindergarten’s teachers in doing early detection and management of growth disorders. This was a quasi-experimental study using a pretest and posttest control group design. Population of this research were all kindergarten’s teachers in Semarang City (1778 persons). As many as 79 teachers were selected as samples of this study using a technique of systematic sampling. Data collection was performed twice namely before and after intervention using a questionnaire. Furthermore, data were analysed by performing paired-t, Wilcoxon, and Mann-Whitney U tests. The results of this research showed in the intervention group, there were any sigificant differences in knowledge (p=0.000), attitude (p=0.000), and practice (p=0.000) of kindergarten’s teachers between before and after providing education. Similarly, in the control group, there were any sigificant differences in knowledge (p=0.000), attitude (p=0.000), and practice (p=0.001) of kindergarten’s teachers between before and after providing education. Overall, among both groups, there were any sigificant differences in knowledge (p=0.007), attitude (p=0.000), and practice (p=0.000) of kindergarten’s teachers between before and after providing education. To sum up, there was any difference in behaviour of kindergarten’s teachers between before and after providing education of early detection and management growth disorders. As a suggestion, UPTD of Education of Semarang City needs to conduct training of education of early detection and management growth disorders for all kindergarten’s teachers.
