Abstract
This study aims to determine whether motivation and compensation influence on performance of madrasah teachers at Al Khoiriyyah Education Foundation Semarang City. This research uses motivation and compensation as independent variable and teacher’s performance as dependent variable. This research was conducted at Al Khoiriyyah Education Foundation of Semarang City. This study uses survey method. Based on the results of multiple regression tests can be concluded that variables of motivation and compensation have a positive and significant influence on performance of madrasah teachers. The result determination coefficient test (R2) shows that the value of Adjusted R Square is 0.388. It means that motivation and compensation as independent variables contribute in influencing teacher’s performance as a dependent variable with a figure of 38.8%.
