ASPEK NARATIF DALAM FILM HARAP TENANG ADA UJIAN KARYA IFA ISFANSYAH

Thesis arranged and mentors by Laura Andri R.M., S.S., M.A. as mentor I and Khothibul Umam, S.S., M.Hum. as mentor II in Literature and Indonesian Language Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Diponegoro University. The material object of this research is Harap Tenang Ada Ujian film Ifa Isfansyah’s work. Film is a product of art and culture that has value because it purpose to give entertainment and satisfaction for the audience. Means of the story, the audience can indirectly learn to feel and inspire the various problems of life which expressly offered by author so that the artwork and culture products can make the audience become a wiser human and humanize human. This research has a purpose to analyze aspect of narative in Harap Tenang Ada Ujian Film. The method used in this research is the film’s structural method, the film’s structural method in this study aims to analyze the intrinsic elements and extrinsic element contained in film. Besides, this research also uses structural narative theory to analyze Harap Tenang Ada Ujian’s elements. After analyze about aspect of narative in Harap Tenang Ada Ujian Film using theory of structural narative got result that figures of boy and japan volunteer are the main character because the character often appears in every scane, while the figure of father, friends of boy and friends of japan volunteer are supporting characters. In Harap Tenang Ada Ujian Film there are also problems among others : about learning history in elementary school, the arrival of Japan volunteer, use of language and school that were destroyed by the earthquake. In Harap Tenang Ada Ujian Film there are values of nationalism, among others: Love in the homeland, willing to sacrifice, Responsible, brave, and never give up.
