Abstract
The dynamics of international politics in the era of globalization are faced with various important issues such as environmental conservation. One of the issues that arises is illegal trading of Sumatran Tiger in Riau Province. In this study the authors will describe more about the involvement of International Organizations namely World Wide Fund (WWF) to handle the endangered species trade issues.This study use several approaches such as the Neoliberal institutional theory, the Transnational crime theory, the theory of International cooperation, and the International organization theory. While the method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with secondary method data collecting.From this study,I conclude that the role of WWF to handle the Harimau Sumatran illegal trading issues is realized through informational / promotional activity, collaboration, and cooperation with Goverment, implementation of collaboration program at home and abroad, formation of communication channel and monitoring. These efforts have made progress in supporting the conservation of endangered species, lthough they cannot be the fundamental solution.
