Abstract

A divorce is changing not only the structure in a family but also pure essence of family interaction and relationship. A communication that changed can turns a children attitude to be bettter or to be worse instead called antisocial behavior The purpose of this reasearch is explain how to understand family communication after a divorce and how to manage teenager antisocial behavior who his/her parents was divorced.This reasearch is using the qualitative method, interpretetive paradigm and analitical technique thet refer to fenomenology method. Subjects of this reasearch are three informant with the criteria a teenager age 12-22 years old from a divorced family. This research is using The Role Theory and The Rational Dialectis Theory. The result of this reasearch is found that every divorced family have family communication that changed, but there’s also a family which communication has not changed. Communication in a divorce family can cause a changing behavior to children but not every children can experience a changing antisocial behaviour. To manage that changing antisocial a good family communication is needed to understand that changing behavior, because a child who having a changed antisocial behavior cannot manage that changing behavior alone. They tend to need extra attention from their divorced parents, there is a need for understanding so that a child can understand why divorce takes place and it takes the role of a mother and father to accompany the child so that they do not feel emptiness in themselves so that antisocial behavior can be avoided.
