Abstract

"The Field Ecosystem of Meaning and Implicature Metaphors on the lyrics of the songs in the band's SMILE album L'Arc ~ En ~ Ciel Stylistics and Semiotics Studies". A thesis of Japanese Language and Culture, Diponegoro University. Advisor Nur Hastuti, S.S, M.Hum. In this thesis, the authors examine about "The Ecosystem of Field Meaning and Implicatur Metaphors on the lyrics of the songs in the album SMILE's band L'Arc ~ En ~ Ciel Stylistic and Semiotics Studies" This study aims to determine the field of meaning ecosystem and know the implicatur metaphor found on song lyrics. The data used in this study are seven lyrics of L'Arc ~ En ~ Ciel's songs in the SMILE album. The method used in this research is literature study method. The theory used is a metaphor and symbol to examine the lyrics of the song. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that in the lyrics of the songs in the album SMILE there are 16 metaphors ecosystem field meaning object category 4 metaphor, category being 3 metaphors, cosmos category there are 3 metaphors, category living 3 metaphor, category 2 metaphor, terrestrial 2 metaphor category substance 1 metaphor, human category 1 metaphor. In addition there are 10 metaphoric implicatures that are metaphorical berimlikatur serenade as much as 7 metaphors, metaphor of implicate elegi 2 metaphor, and metaphor implicate pasturale as much as 1 metaphor.
