BEBERAPA FAKTOR YANG BERPENGARUH TERHADAP KEJADIAN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE 2 PADA WANITA USIA SUBUR (WUS) (Studi di RSUD Kota Madiun)

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Wanita Usia Subur (WUS) dengan Diabetes Melitus (DM) yang sudah menikah memiliki risiko untuk mengalami komplikasi kehamilan, baik pada ibu mapun bayinya. Penelitian tentang faktor risiko kejadian DM tipe 2 pada WUS masih jarang dilakukan, bahkan belum pernah dilakukan pada WUS yang sudah menikah. Tujuan : Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membuktikan beberapa faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap DM tipe 2 pada WUS. Metode : Penelitian observasional analitik ini menggunakan desain studi kasus kontrol. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah WUS berusia 20-49 tahun dan sudah menikah yang periksa gula darah di RSUD Kota Madiun. Sampel dalam penelitian ini 54 kasus dan 54 kontrol dengan teknik consecutive sampling. Data dianalisis dengan chi-square dan regresi logistik. Hasil : Variabel yang berpengaruh terhadap kejadian DM tipe 2 pada WUS yaitu umur ≥ 35 tahun dengan aOR=7,45 (95% CI=1,97-28,16), aktivitas fisik <600 MET dengan aOR=4,03 (95% CI=1,74-14,49), skor stres kuartil 2 dan 3 dengan aOR=4,62 (95% CI=1,27-16,74) dan aOR=4,79 (95% CI=1,43-16,09), obesitas dengan aOR=3,36 (95% CI=1,16-9,73). Variabel yang tidak berpengaruh terhadap kejadian DM tipe 2 pada WUS yaitu riwayat keluarga DM, riwayat gestational diabetes mellitus, hipertensi, tingkat konsumsi karbohidrat, tingkat konsumsi lemak. Simpulan : Beberapa faktor yang terbukti berpengaruh terhadap kejadian DM tipe 2 pada WUS adalah umur ≥35 tahun, aktivitas fisik tidak sesuai anjuran WHO (<600 MET), tingkat stres kuartil 2 dan 3 serta obesitas. Background: Women of reproductive age with Diabetes Mellitus (DM) who were married having a risk complications of pregnancy, either on mother and her baby. Study on risk factors of DM in women of reproductive age was a rare, they have never done on women of reproductive age that married. Objective: The objective of this study was to prove some factors that influence to type 2 DM in women of reproductive age. Method: An observasional analytic was conducted with case-control study design. Populations in this study were women of reproductive age 20-49 years that check blood sugar at Madiun Regional Hospital. The samples in this study were 54 cases and 54 controls by consecutive sampling. Data were analyzed by chi-square and logistic regression. Result: Variables that influence to the occurrence of type 2 DM in women at reproductive age were age ≥35 years old had aOR=7,45 (95% CI=1,97-28,16), physical activity <600 MET had aOR=4,03 (95% CI=1,74-14,49), 2nd quartile and 3rd quartile stress scores had aOR=4,62 (95% CI=1,27-16,74) and aOR=4,79 (95% CI=1,43-16,09), obesity had aOR=3,36 (95% CI=1,16-9,73). Variables that didn’t influence to the occurrence of type 2 DM in women at reproductive age were family history of DM, history of gestational diabetes mellitus, hypertension, carbohydrate consumption levels, and fat consumption levels. Conclusion: Factors that influence to the occurrence of type 2 DM in women at reproductive age were age ≥35 years old, physical activity <600 MET, 2nd and 3rd quartile stress scores and obesity.
