TINDAK TUTUR ILOKUSI DIREKTIF TOKOH DALAM NOVEL HUJAN KARYA TERE LIYE (KAJIAN PRAGMATIK)

Pembimbing: Drs. Suharyo, M. Hum dan Riris Tiani, S.S.,M. Hum. This research reviewing types of directive illocution speech act in the Hujan novel of Tere Liye work. This research using study pragmatic as science to research types of directive illocution speech act associated by form of marker directive illocution speech act the characters Hujan novel. The purpose of this conducted research is to explain the types of directive illocution speech act used the characters Hujan novel and describe form of marker directive illocution speech act the characters Hujan novel. Techniques of data collection in research use techniques refer and techniques defect. Data analysis techniques using data is unified method. Data analysis by using theory directive illocution speech act Searle. Presentation of data analysis in the research using informal method. The results of study explain in that Hujan novel found types directive illocution speech act include (1) command, (2) demand, (3) give suggestion, (4) invites, (5) forbidden, (6) entreat. Various types of directive illocution speech act, types of directive illocution speech act command and invites often spoken by the characters. The sign of directive illocution speech act in the Hujan novel of Tere Liye work variations that is verb, command word, exclamation work (!), no work, must, come on, hope, if, maybe, should, let, and please. As for other findings be based on context speech act found diverification the language of used in speect act that is man characters hard, clear, coarse, not long winded, less friendly, and woman characters is soft and friendly. Another result is the eachs types of directive illocution speech act have the meaning is telling, govern, persuade, asking, for suggestion, and recommend.
