Abstract
Research is stimulated by PT.PLN (Persero) semarang south branding issued a new product that is electricity Listrik Prabayar. Prepaid customers can control the use of electricity at any time. The purpose of this study is : (1). Know the bauran promotion to the electricity prepaid. (2).To determine the factors that hamper the electricity prepaid. The data collected by doing the interview, observation, documeting.the analysis method used by sort of descriptive set of qualitative. The results obtained, among others : (1.) In bauran promotion of the public relations to the electricity prepaid, bauran promotion to communications. Communication with media advertising, salles promotion, personal selling, direct marketing, humas. Communication with the following : program SARLING (marketing around), word of mounth, internal interactive counseling. (2). In the communication of the public relations that become obstacles in the lack of Kwhmeter prepaid to meet customer demand increased. And also the mindset of society that is still fixed on electricity for postpaid.
