FUNGSI TEKS TAKHYĪRAH MUKHTAŞAR BAGI MASYARAKAT DESA PAESAN (SEBUAH KAJIAN RESEPSI)

Abstract

In living a life a person must have a handle in worship. Moreover, over the time we can not only use the quran and hadith. but also we need a handbook to help us answering all the problems, it does not mean ignoring the quran and the hadith but actually practicing their teachings. Takhyīrah Mukhtaşar Text is tarajumah book of Rifa’iyah society wich contains about ushuluddin sciences, they are shahadah, faith, legal requirements of teachers, repentance, news, and waliyullah. The characteristic of this book is the mention of the pillars in Islam which is only one, it is shahadah. The problem in tthis research is How the reception of Paesan Villager to the text function of Takhyīrah Mukhtaşar. The author conducted the research by using philology theory and theory of literary receptions. The Philology theory consists of manuscript inventory, manuscript description, edits and text transcription. Meanwhile the theory of literary reception is used to confirm the response of the villagers in Paesan to the function of studying the Takhyīrah Mukhtaşar Text. This research used direct observation methods, interviews, and the spread of questionnaires to collect data. From these steps can be generated the data of demographic conditions of the people in Paesan village and the function of Takhyīrah Mukhtaşar Text for readers. The result of this research show that the Paesan villagers’ reception of the Takhyīrah Mukhtaşar function generally knows the functions contained in the text. Specifically, The results of Paesan villager’s reception are based on several factors: age, education and belief. From these factors it can be seen that the majority of the people of Paesan Village know the function of Takhyīrah Mukhtaşar. Takhyīrah Mukhtaşar is still studied by tarajumah villagers of Paesan until now because they know that the text can be used as a guide, reference, da'wah media and it helps in the learning process considering many heresy that appear so that we must be careful in choosing spiritual teacher .
