Pengelolaan Kegiatan CSR PT PLN (Persero) Distribusi Jawa Tengah dan DI Yogyakarta Melalui Program PLN Mengajar

Abstract

CSR PLN Teaching Program is one of the CSR program as a form of corporate commitment in taking care of the surrounding environment aimed at the students all over Indonesia. PLN Teaching program is expected to provide useful knowledge to the students. The purpose of this research is to describe how the involvement of Public Relations PT PLN (Persero) Distribution Central Java and DI Yogyakarta in managing CSR PLN Teaching activities. Research activities CSR PLN Teaching using the theory of stages of CSR management from Yusuf Wibisono they are, the planning stage, implementation phase, evaluation phase, and reporting stage. The method used in this research using descriptive method with data collection tool through interview. Based on the results of these research show that in the planning stage of Public Relations PT PLN (Persero) Distribution of Central Java and Yogyakarta has instilled the importance of CSR program activities to all components of the company and prepare everything to support the success of the PLN Teaching Program. In the implementation phase of Public Relations in cooperation with media partners to conduct supervision of the activities and to publish the activities that have been held. At the evaluation stage of the PLN Teaching Program gets full support from all components of the company and external parties. In the reporting stages of Public Relations create a report of activities directed to the Central PLN to find out the follow-up PLN Teaching Program. The program of PLN Mengajar is expected to be consistent for its implementation because in addition to providing education facilities and infrastructure, PLN also intends to introduce the company to the general public especially students throughout Indonesia. Public Relations PT PLN (Persero) Distribution Central Java and DI Yogyakarta in managing PLN Teaching Program has been very good. Public Relations Planning PLN Teaching Program prepare all to support the success of PLN Teaching Program starting from preparing materials, teaching staff, teaching methods, and schedule activities well. Evaluation of the activities showed by the measure of success can be seen from the positive news published in the media and there is no negative news.
