Abstract

ABSTRACT Perdana, Rifqi Surya, 2018. “Nilai Pendidikan Dalam Film Seven Samurai”.Thesis, Department of Japanese Studies Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University. The advisor Budi Mulyadi, S.Pd., M.Hum and Arsi Widiandari, S.S, M.Hum The object study in this research is film titled Seven Samurai. The method used to obtain data is descriptive-analysis method. Theory which supports this research is Faruq’s literature sociology theory, Pratista Himawan’s cinematography elements and Thomas A. Lickona education value work. This thesis is examining the education value in each conflict among farmer, Samurai and bandit. Whereabouts, the bandit constantly come to rob farmer’s harvest. Afterward, by asking a Samurai to help, the bandits can be defeated The result of this research shows that in the final conclusion which researcher can learn from Seven Samurai film is all Samurai whose has noble character for the people, by behaving an ethics code of what is implanted in the Samurai themselves, all Samurai present that they will fight for the weak people without looking at someone’s wealth and thei clan.
