Abstract

ABSTRACT Hutomo, Bima. 2018. The Realization of Educational Values In The Great Teacher Onizuka Creation Tooru Fujisawa Movie. Thesis. Japanese Literature, Diponegoro University, Semarang. First advisor: Fajria Noviana, S.S., M.Hum. Second advisor: Arsi Widiandari S.S., M.Si. Great Teacher Onizuka movie is inspired by education, is about a teacher named Eikichi Onizuka who is very empathetic and very fond of his students. No matter how difficult his students are, he will try hard to help him, so that the students realize that Onizuka is different from the teachers in the school labeled the elite who are reluctant to help students problems. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with literature study. The theory used to analyze is structural theory and educational value concept. Structural theory is used to analyze narrative elements in film, namely the element of narrative relation with space, narrative relationship with time, story actors, conflict and goals. While the concept of educational value is used to analyze the educational values in the movie Great Teacher Onizuka. The results of this study are the background of storytelling, setting background, giving names and characters to influential figures with educative value, the time of story telling and the educative values that the teacher does to the students. In this study it can be concluded that based on the story shown in the movie Great Teacher Onizuka is a former member of a motorcycle herd who became a teacher. Then provide motivation and support for students to become better human, independent and able to mature emotionally. Keywords : educational values, Great Teacher Onizuka
