NILAI-NILAI BUDAYA YANG TECERMIN DALAM LAKON NASKAH PAKEM RINGGIT PURWA (SUNTINGAN TEKS DAN ANALISIS ISI)

Abstract

ABSTRACT Purnomo, Agus Setyo. 2017. “Cultural Values which is Reflected in The Story of Pakem Ringgit Purwa Script The Content Analysis and Text Editing”. Under Graduate Thesis of Sastra Indonesia. Semarang. Faculty of Humanities of Diponegoro University. The supervisor Ken Widyawati, S.S., M.Hum. and Dra. Mirya Anggrahini, M.Hum. The Script of Pakem Ringgit Purwa (PRP) is a script which contains set of Javanese Puppet story which loaded with cultural value. PRP script is Radya Pustaka Museum collection with number code 242 189 (791.53 Pk p) Reel 16-40/6. The writer of PRP script is unknown, but this script is estimated written at 1900s years. This research is purposed to present description of PRP text and reveal cultural values which contain in the text based on content analysis method. The Author uses two theory, philology theory and content analysis theory. Study of philology at PRP text is purposed to produce a description of the script, the outline of the script, editing of text (transliteration and transcription). Content analysis at PRP text is purposed to reveal cultural values which contain in the text. The script of PRP is contained set of Javanese puppet story like The story of Peksi Dewata, the love stories of Darmadewa and Darmadewi, the story of prosperous countries, the stories that illustrate the dangers of drinking alcohol. The results of content analysis carried out on the PRP text reveal seven cultural values contained in PRP texts, such as; moral values and manners that explain the importance of respecting older and higher-ranking people, and the appeal to avoid drinking ; The value of Belief explains the duty of man to believe the soul mate is the destiny of God Almighty ; The value of honesty contains about the integrity of the honest nature of social life, as a manifestation of self and response from others ; Social Values explain the virtue of men's responsibility to women, as well as the importance of maintaining good relationships with others ; Religious value contains the primacy of man to pray to God ; The value of social welfare contains the description of developed countries based on the term Gemah ripah lohjinawi kerta raharja Keywords: Script, Pakem Ringgit Purwa, Puppet Story, Content Analysis
