TEKNIK PENCIPTAAN HUMOR DALAM KOMIK STRIP TAHILALATS DI WEBTOON

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain how the techniques used as the creation of humor and violations of the principle of cooperation in the Tahilalats comic. This research used observation method, with advanced techniques uninvolved conversation observation technique, writing technique, and record technique. After that proceed by using questionnaire technique. The total data analyzed were 13 episodes of comic based on humor and had a humorous rate above 85% according to the respondents from the questionnaire results. The data are analyzed descriptively qualitative, which explains how coherently techniques used as humor creation and violation of cooperative principles that occur. The theory used is the theory of humor Asa Berger and the theory of principles of cooperation Grice. Based on the results of the analysis, found two aspects of the creation of humor is the aspect of language and logic. Language aspects found include misunderstanding techniques, sound games, irony, and nonsense. Then from the logic aspects found to include techniques analogies, impossibilities, and themes. In addition, found violations of the principle of cooperation is the maxim of quantity, quality, relevance, and maxim implementation.
