FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERPERAN DALAM KELOMPOK TANI SEBAGAI UNIT PRODUKSI TERHADAP USAHATANI PADI DI KECAMATAN SUSUKAN KABUPATEN SEMARANG

Abstract

Agriculture farmer development still has barriers, one of them is human resources, farmer. Farmer human resources establishment need to be doing that farmer relies on subject development. The farmer will get advantage from participation as member farm group. If farm group have a good function so farmer can improve it. The purpose of this research is to analyze factors which have role in farm group as production unit, analyze factors which have role in farm group as production unit to influence paddy produce and income, analyze farm group as production unit based on difference amount of member group, analyze paddy productivity based on differences amount of member group. This Research method is used survey research. Exogenous variable has investigated include farm pattern determine, farm planning disposition, intermediate technology implementation, a partnership growth, committed to a group agreement, farm assessment, increased natural resources sustainability and group business managerial. Whereas, endogenous variable covers production and income. Population in this research is crop farm group in Susukan subdistrict Semarang Regency. Sampling technique used stratified random sampling. Amount of respondent is 184 people. The role factors in farm group as production unit to influence paddy production and income are used path analysis, where as to examine farm role as production unit and paddy productivity based on divarication amount of member group used Independent Sample T-test. The research result showed factors role in farm group as production unit included in medium category in farm pattern determining, farm plan disposition, intermediate technology implementation, partnership growing, farm assessment, group business managerial, high category is barriers to group agreement activity and natural resources continuity enhancement. The role factors in farm group as production unit govern significantly to paddy production and farmer income. No differences farm group role as production unit to each group based on amount group and no differences paddy productivity to each group based on amount member in Susukan Subdistrict, Semarang Regency.
