Abstract
This study aimed to examine the effect of dividend payment, leverage, free cash flow and bonus compensation on earning management practices in manufacturing company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015 and 2016. This research was conducted by quantitative method using data of manufacturing company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2015 – 2016. Research data was analyzed using multiple regression analysis. 94 companies data were used as samples in this study. The result of this study showed dividend payment has significant and positive effect toward earning management practices.free cash flow also showed a significant and negative effect towards earning management practices. However, leverage and bonus compensation didnt show any relation toward earning management practices.
