PENGARUH MODAL INTELEKTUAL TERHADAP NILAI PASAR PERUSAHAAN DENGAN KINERJA KEUANGAN PERUSAHAAN SEBAGAI VARIABEL MEDIATOR (Studi Empiris pada Perusahaan Manufaktur yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2013-2015)

Abstract

The phenomenon of knowledge based economy confirms that the presence of Intellectual capital is a very important thing for the success of business in the modern era. Intellectual capital will be transformed into a competitive advantage so it will have an impact on the Firm’s performance.This study aims to analyze the influence of Intellectual Capital on the Firm’s Market Value with the Financial Performance as Intervening Variable. The sample used in this study is a manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2013-2015. The total sample of this study amounted to 174 manufacturing companies determined by the method of purposive sampling. Data analysis techniques used in this study is simple linear regression analysis and Sobel test. The result showed that Intellectual Capital has a positive effect on Firm’s Market Value with the Financial Performance as Intervening Variable.
