Abstract
ABSTRACT Oktaviani, Nadya. 2017. "Main Character Anxiety Disorder on Satoru Fujinuma in Boku Dake Ga Inai Machi Script by Yuichiro Hirakawa". A thesis of Japanese Department, Diponegoro University. Advisor: Budi Mulyadi, S.Pd,. M. Hum. This thesis research about anxiety disorders experienced by Satoru Fujinuma in Boku Dake Ga Inai Machi script. The purpose of this research is to explain structure elements which build the story and explain anxiety disorders experienced by Satoru Fujinuma, also to solve Satoru Fujinuma anxiety problem. This thesis use theory of fiction assessment and anxiety theory. Fiction assessment theory used for explain the characters, plot and setting. Anxiety theory used for showing anxiety disorders experienced by Satoru Fujinuma. The results of this movie show that Satoru Fujinuma had a light, medium, hard and panic anxiety levels. In light anxiety levels, Satoru tend to be more cautious, maximizing his perception, had curiousity, and had ability to solving problem. In medium anxiety levels, Satoru focused on important things and hard to concentrate. In hard anxiety levels, Satoru minimizing his perception, hard to concentrate and communicate, also need more guidance from other people. For the panic anxiety levels, Satoru tend to have fear, feel terrorized, lose controls, increasing his motoric activity, decreasing his ability to communicate with other people, and being irrational. The reason of this anxiety levels was dominant by threat and fear which had big influence on the main character. Keywords: Fiction Assessment, Literature Phsycology, Anxiety Levels.
