Abstract

ABSTRACT Prasetya, Wawan. 2017. “Karakteristik Persahabatan dalam Film Orenji (Orange) Karya Sutradara Kojiro Hashimoto (Kajian Psikologi Sastra)”. A thesis in partial fulfillment of the requirement for S-1 Degree Japanese Department, Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University, Semarang. First Advisor Nur Hastuti, S.S, M.Hum. Second advisor Dewi Saraswati S., S.S, M.Si. This thesis used a film entitled “Orange” as an object of study. The research aims to explain about intrinsic elements and to describe the characteristic of friendship in a film that released on 2015 and directed by Kojiro Hashimoto entitled “Orange”. The method that used in this research is literature study. The theory that used in this research are structural theory, literary psychology, and social psychology. The results of this research that this film has two structure that build this film, there are narrative and cinematic structure. There are the main characters in film are Naho Takamiya and Kakeru Naruse. Other characters who have effect on the film are Suwa, Hagita, Azu, and Taka. Setting used in this film are place setting, time setting, and social setting. Plot used in this film is linear, and the characteristic of friendship in the film are enjoyment, acceptance, mutual assistance, confiding and trust, understanding, respect, and spontaneity.
