Abstract
ABSTRACT Ahmad, Amri Fadhilah. 2017. “Education Values in Anime Ansatsu Kyoushitsu by Yusei Matsui”. First Supervisor Budi Mulyadi S.Pd, M.Hum. Second Supervisor Arsi Widiandari S.S, M.Si This research was proposed to describe narrative elements and educational values contained in anime Ansatsu Kyoshitsu. Academic library research was chosen as a preferable method for this research, while the researcher used cinematography theory and literature sociology as base theories, supported with additional data about education in Japan. The result was revealed that there are five narrative elements in anime Ansatsu Kyoushitsu; story, problem, conflict, goal, and time and space. The educational values are that the students from class 3E in anime Ansatsu Kyoushitsu were taught about how to be more confident on oneself's abilities, to be more appreciative about oneself and other people's efforts and to not insult one another, to conserve the nature and to not disturb the ecosystem, also to respect one another even when a conflict arises in society. Key words : Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, education in Japan, educational values, cinematography, narrative elements in films.
