PENGARUH ORANG TUA DAN LINGKUNGAN TERHADAP PENGUASAAN KOSAKATA ANAK USIA 5-6 TAHUN DI TAMAN KANAK-KANAK “BUKIT AKSARA SEMARANG”

Abstract

Parents and the environment are not separate elements in child development. This research is a descriptive quantitative research about the influence of parents and the environment on child vocabulary mastery. This research uses three different methods, combinations in data collection that is observation method, questionnaire, and an interview. The analysis used multiple linear regression analysis, which resulted in two different tables containing the level of influence of free variables namely parent and environment variables partially and collectively. This study found the direction of motion of influence conducted by the father, mother, and environment. The direction of motion influence the positive value of the mother, which means the more often the mother to interact and give stimulus to the child than then the vocabulary controlled by the children more and more. The direction of the father's influence is negative, which means that the more often the father interacts and gives stimulus to the child, the less-controlled vocabulary of the child.
