The data were collected using Nurse’s Patient Education Questionnaire. The result of this study indicate that 59,8% nurses practice were good and 40,2% were poorly implemented. Educational environment was the most well performed, in the contrast was healthcare organization. Professional development of patient education were less perceived and 29,5% did not get support from manager. The average time devoted by nurses to patient teaching around 21% of the shift, in the other words is approximately an hour and 28 minutes. Healthcare should provide nurses opportunities to self-development in a way evidence-based education can be applied in nurse’s patient education.
