Abstract

White oyster mushroom (Pleurotus Ostreatus) is a type of wood fungus, to cultivate these white oyster mushrooms require wood powder, bran and lime. However, in the process of mushroom growth developed by farmers generally require a long process, Sterilization of planting media takes 24 hours, at the time of incubation mycelium grows very long between 35-42 days. This research was conducted using autoclave method and addition of molasses on baglog composition. The objective is to know the mechanism of autoclave work as a baglog sterilization tool and to know the effect of adding nutrients in the form of molasses to the rapid creeps of mycelium and the first harvest. In this study there are 8 variables where fixed variable is 1000gram powder, bran 300gram, lime 30 gram and sterilization time for 60 minutes. Then there are 2 variables that change the first temperature, the temperature is set 1000C and 1210C, the second is the amount of addition of nutrients in the form of molasses written with symbols M0 is without addition of molasses, M1 with 18ml molasses addition, M2 is 36ml molasses addition, and M3 with 54ml molasses addition. In this research there are 3 analysis of product determination. First determination of mycelium fulfillment, in this analysis M1 is the best condition and the worst M0. The second determination of fungus weight, in this analysis M3 is the best condition and the worst M0. And the third determination of the number of mushroom stems, in this analysis M3 is the best condition and the worst M0. The most optimum temperature in the third analysis is at 1210C..
