ANALISIS PENGARUH LEVERAGE, TOBIN’S Q, INTANGIBLE ASET, TANGIBLE ASET, LIKUIDITAS dan UKURAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP PREDIKSI TERJADINYA FINANCIAL DISTRESS (Study Pada Perusahaan Manufaktur Yang Terdaftar di BEI Tahun 2010-2014)

Abstract

Financial Distress can be signal of the company's performance conditions that occurred prior to the bankruptcy. One of the indication of financial distress is the decline in sales of the company compared to the sector average. This study analyzes several factors that are predicted to have effects on the company's financial distress i.e: leverage, tobin's q, tangible assets, intangible assets, liquidity and company’s size. The population used in this study are the manufacturing sector companies in Indonesia and listed on IDX in the period of 2010-2014. The data used are data from the company's financial statements, while the sampling technique uses purposive sampling. In accordance to the predetermined criteria, there are 103 company samples to be tested using multiple regression analysis that previously has passed the classical assumption test. Regression test results show that there are significant results on LEV, TQ, TANG, LQ and SIZE variables. While on INTANG variable, it does not show significant result. LEV, TQ variables are proven to have significant effects on FD at the significance level of 10%. TANG and LQ variables have significant effects on FD at the significance level of 5%, and SIZE variable has significant effects on FD at the significance level of 1%.
