Abstract

(Performance Test of First Order Self Regualtion Dynamic Process with Manipulated Variable 1/3, 1/4, and 1/5) Darmawan Saputra* 21030114060115 Measurement of fluid flow rate is a very important variable in industrial process. This measurement is needed to determine the amount of fluid used in a process (flowing in and out of the process). One way of measuring fluid flow rate is by using Dynamics Process system or manual control system. The operating system performed in measuring the change of the flow rate of a fluid with the Dynamics Process instrument is the order of one self regulation. This means that the system is a system of one rank and can control itself without the aid of automatic instruments. The test was performed using a valve opening (interference) of 1/3 (33%), ¼ (25%), and 1/5 (20%). The change of the fluid flow rate from the steady state conditions is observed over a period of time (300 seconds) and observation of the elevation level every 10 seconds. The resulting response is a kind of overdamped stable response (slow response). Keywords: level height, flow rate, dynamics process
