Saraswati, Dinda Ayu. 2017. “Illocutionary Speech Acts in Dialogue Movie Assalamualaikum Beijing by Guntur Soeharjanto”. Skripsi. Faculty of Humanity Diponegoro University Semarang. Preceptor: Dra. Sri Puji Astuti, M.Pd. and Drs. M. Hermintoyo, M.Pd. Movie is the story (stories) picture of life in wich there is an interaction between the characters. In conversation containing the scene, setting, and specific topics that are part of the context of the speech. Through the context can be known acts of speech including act of speech illocution. The issues raised in this research is the types of speech acts of illocution used in dialogue movie Assalamualaikum Beijing by Guntur Soeharjanto. The purpose of this study is to describe the types of illocutionary speech acts in dialogue movie Assalamualaikum Beijing by Guntur Soeharjanto. The data in this research is dialogue of movie characters. Data obtained by the method refer to the advanced engineering techniques records, transcript, and record. Data were analyzed using analysis of pragmatics with contextual method. Presentation of the result of the analysis were presented to the informal methods. Based on data analysis, the there are five types of illocution. Five types of illocution mentioned (1) representative speech acts wich is declare, admitted, report, to show, to mention, and speculate, (2) directive speech acts wich is force, invite, request, to bill, demand, suggest, and to order, (3) expresive speech acts wich is praised, to say thank you, criticizing, complain, to blame, and congratulate, (4) comisive speech acts, wich is promised, swear, threatening, and declared ability, (5) declaration speech acts wich is decided, prohibit, to allow, and forgiven.
